The DEWALT thickness planer features with a material removal gauge that indicates the precise pre-plane depth of cut, as well as a turret stop with 4 pre-sets for repeat planer cuts. The knives can be changed easily on pins, and they are reversible, so one blade set has a 30 percent longer cutting life.
