This tool works for crimping 750 MCM copper and 1000 MCM aluminum with up to 12 tons of crimping force. To help ensure durability and prevent corrosion, the DEWALT 20V Max died electrical cable crimping tool has an Electroless Nickless protective coating. For your convenience, this crimping tool is UL classified, making it compatible with most U-Type dies and popular connectors. Connect the tool to your computer and print out reports about the service and crimping history using the integrated Crimp Connect™ software. To help you use the tool, it features a LED interface that shows you the battery level, cycle completed and indicates service needed. The cable crimping tool also has a LED light for work area illumination. For one-handed operation, the forward and release triggers are easily reachable.
